Increase Sperm Production

Sperm production is dependent upon many variables including family genetic history, physical health, and diet to name a few. Having an adequate production of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Luteinizing Hormone (LH), is important. LH is also called the Interstitial Cell Stimulating Hormone (ICSH). FSH and LH are the same hormones that are necessary for ovulation and the menstrual cycle in women. Testosterone production is also important. Research the male hormone ans sperm production cycle, then answer these questions:

• If a male has low levels of FSH and LH, what type of hormone therapy might be recommended? Defend your answer.
• If the male has low levels of testosterone, what type of hormone therapy might be recommended? Defend your answer.
• If a male has low sperm count, how can you concentrate the sperm before artificially inseminating a partner?

There are other factors affecting male fertility that do not require the use of ART. How would you answer these questions?
